Aleppo Regains Its Traffic Vitality: A Major Project to Upgrade Roads Connecting the City to Its Rural and International Surroundings

The project includes comprehensive paving and maintenance works for vital axes, in addition to implementing tree planting, lighting, and beautification of medians, as part of an integrated plan to improve traffic infrastructure.
According to Al-Aziz, the project implementation period ranges from two and a half to three months, with an estimated cost of about 67 million dollars, of which approximately 10 million dollars has been executed so far, with work continuing at an accelerated pace.
The project is expected to facilitate the movement of commercial transport and travelers, and improve the urban landscape of the city, especially after years of damage to the road networks due to the war.
