Al-Shaybani to "CNN": Israel hinders our internal efforts and Washington has adopted a positive stance since the day of liberation

Al-Shaybani stated that the Israeli strikes targeting Syria after the fall of the regime were "shocking," confirming that Tel Aviv supported groups outside the law, which prevented solutions to social problems between the Bedouins and Druze, and complicated the local scene further.
He added that the Israeli interventions placed the Druze community in a "very difficult and embarrassing" position, at a time when the Syrian government was trying to contain the rise of sectarian violence in the south, before Israel hindered those efforts.
Regarding international relations, Al-Shaybani pointed out that Washington's stance towards Syria since the day of liberation has been "very positive," and has received wide approval from Syrians, indicating a relative improvement in bilateral relations.
