Quneitra.. Protests Withdrawals from the Electoral Body in Rejection of Marginalizing the Revolutionaries

The province of Quneitra witnessed mass withdrawals from the electoral body of the People's Council, in protest against what the people of the province considered "manipulation of their will" and "marginalization of the revolutionaries" by the High Electoral Committee, according to the newspaper "Zaman al-Wasl".
Seven members have announced their withdrawal so far, and the withdrawers confirmed, in statements reported by the newspaper "Zaman al-Wasl", that they are not seeking positions, but rather rejecting the "conspiracy, exclusion, and blatant bias against the symbols of the revolution and their colleagues from the competencies", considering that what happened is a "pre-planned scheme by a group linked to the coalition that has been accustomed to manipulating the will of the Syrians and hijacking the representation of their revolution".
The withdrawers emphasized their commitment to the national interest and respect for the principles that the state should be based on, confirming that they "will not allow the fallen regime to exploit them, and they will not be mere extras in a humiliating play of the will of the Syrians and the people of Quneitra", calling on their colleagues to take the same stance, expressing hope that the Syrian state would "rectify the situation and correct the course".
