Aircraft Carrier "Charles de Gaulle" in the Mediterranean and France Warns of a Catastrophe in Lebanon

In an unprecedented escalation, French President Emmanuel Macron warned of the dire consequences that may arise from the continued tensions in the Middle East, sharply criticizing Iran and holding it "primarily responsible" for the current escalation in the region.
Macron pointed to Iran's support for armed groups in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, in addition to what he described as its "dangerous nuclear program" and orders to "fire on protesters."
Despite these accusations against Iran, Macron affirmed in a speech to the French people that the United States and Israel have exceeded "international law" in the military operations they have launched against Iran, which he deemed unacceptable.
In another context, Macron announced the deployment of the French aircraft carrier "Charles de Gaulle" to the Mediterranean, accompanied by its aircraft and frigates, in a move aimed at enhancing France's military presence in the region amid rising military and security tensions.
Macron explained that France will show solidarity with its partners in the region, especially in Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE, by deploying "Rafale" aircraft and advanced air defense systems.
Regarding Israel, the French president warned of the repercussions of any ground operation it might launch in Lebanon, considering it a "strategic mistake" that could lead to further deterioration.
He emphasized that France will remain alongside the Lebanese authorities in their efforts to maintain the security and stability of the country.
In another escalation, a senior official in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard revealed Iran's intention to strike "all economic centers in the region" if its main centers are targeted.
This threat came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to carry out attacks on Iran, while threatening Hezbollah in Lebanon with a harsh response.
These movements and warnings indicate that the situation in the Middle East is approaching a point of no return, where regional and international calculations intertwine with the risk of comprehensive military escalation.
