By 10:08 Moscow time, January gas contracts on the Dutch "TTF" index, the main index for gas prices in Europe, rose by 2.8% to reach $351.7 per thousand cubic meters.
The contracts had started today's session with an increase of 2.3% at $349.9 per thousand cubic meters.
The average futures contracts for gas in Europe during 2025 indicate $386.50 per thousand cubic meters, which is 16.3% lower compared to 2024, reflecting significant market fluctuations throughout the year, influenced by supply and demand factors and renewable energy on prices.
