Al-Shar'a emphasized the importance of inter-ministerial cooperation in formulating relief plans that prioritize Syrian citizens, particularly in revitalizing the economy and meeting their daily needs. The President stressed the new government's responsibility to reform the significant damage left by the previous regime, especially in economic and financial systems, by creating a secure and attractive investment environment to turn current challenges into opportunities for boosting the national economy. Al-Shar'a highlighted the urgent priority of reconstruction, calling for strategic plans to organize cities and towns that integrate urban, cultural, and civilizational aspects. He underscored the principle of "national reconciliation" as a cornerstone of the government's work, advocating for a unifying national media discourse that elevates national unity above any divisions, emphasizing that Syria belongs to all its citizens without exception. During the meeting, the President listened to the initial visions of the ministers after officially assuming their duties, urging them to present comprehensive plans in the next meeting for evaluation and swift implementation. The ministers discussed issues affecting citizens' lives, including economic sanctions, the necessity of leveraging international support for the new government to lift sanctions and expedite recovery and reconstruction efforts. Additionally, the meeting reviewed the state's economic policies, emphasizing the need for coordination between the ministries of economy, finance, and the central bank to overcome past challenges and develop flexible policies that capitalize on available opportunities through public-private partnerships, activating plans to boost domestic tourism, especially with the return of expatriates. Ministers proposed initiatives related to construction, housing, supporting displaced persons in camps, agricultural development, energy provision, infrastructure rehabilitation, particularly in the transportation sector, civil society organization, national culture enhancement, local administration development, and establishing a fair judicial system reflecting the values of freedom and dignity. The meeting also discussed the necessity of revitalizing official media, presenting future visions for the media sector, including establishing a media city.
