Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today, Saturday, that his country has received proposals from the American side that include security guarantees for 15 years, noting that Kyiv aspires to extend these guarantees to 20 years or more.
Zelensky explained that Washington informed his country that a withdrawal from the Donbas region could expedite reaching peace, as it is a guarantee from the Russian side, but he emphasized the importance of not leaving Ukraine alone in any negotiations with Moscow.
