World Cup 2026: The Arab presence is strengthened by three qualifying teams

Three Arab teams have qualified so far for the finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking an early prominent presence for Arab football in the tournament hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The Jordanian team was the first Arab team to reach the World Cup after its historic victory over Oman with a clean three-goal win at the King Qaboos Sports Complex, ensuring that the "Nashama" will participate for the first time ever in the World Cup, opening a new chapter in the history of Jordanian football.
Meanwhile, the Moroccan team continued its strong performances, securing qualification since the sixth round after a crushing victory over Niger (5-0), before confirming its presence with another away win against Zambia with two goals to none, reaching the finals for the second consecutive time with a full points tally.
As for the Tunisian team, it joined the ranks of qualifiers after a hard-fought victory over Equatorial Guinea with a last-minute goal scored by Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan, allowing the "Eagles of Carthage" to reach the World Cup for the seventh time in its history, topping its group with 22 points, far ahead of its closest competitors.
With the qualifiers continuing in both the Asian and African continents, there remains an opportunity for other Arab teams to enhance the Arab presence in the 2026 World Cup, amidst great public anticipation for more achievements.
