International efforts calling for calm in the Middle East continue, following recent tensions between Iran and Israel and the US entering the war in favor of Israel. The United Arab Emirates is the first country to call for peace and dialogue, expressing deep concern over the continued tension in the region and the targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities. It called for an immediate halt to escalation to avoid serious repercussions and prevent the region from sliding into new levels of instability.

This came in a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasizing the need for diplomacy and dialogue to prevail in resolving disputes, within comprehensive approaches that achieve stability, prosperity, and justice. It renewed its call on the international community to mobilize efforts to reach a comprehensive solution to these sensitive and dangerous developments, safeguarding the region and its peoples from the ravages of conflicts.

The ministry also urged the United Nations and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities by working diligently to resolve the chronic issues in the region that are now at stake and pose an increasing threat to security and stability at both regional and international levels.
