President Ahmed Al-Shar'a issued three consecutive presidential decrees numbered (48), (49), and (50) for the year 2025, appointing three deputies to the Minister of Awqaf in the Syrian Arab Republic, reflecting a direction towards enhancing institutional work in religious and legal affairs. Decree number (48) for the year 2025 appointed Sheikh Anas Al-Mousa as the Deputy Minister of Awqaf for Religious Education. Sheikh Anas, born in Hama, Syria in 1974, is a prominent scholar in the field of Hadith and Islamic sciences. Decree number (49) for the year 2025 appointed Samer Bayraqdar as the Deputy Minister of Awqaf for Endowments. Bayraqdar is a prominent figure in both administrative and religious fields in Syria. Decree number (50) for the year 2025 appointed Dr. Diaa Al-Din Al-Barsha as the Deputy Minister of Awqaf for Religious Affairs. Dr. Al-Barsha is a prominent scholarly and religious figure in Syria, also serving as the president of the Sham University for Islamic Sciences.
