UN Human Rights Commissioner Warns of Rising Violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Sudan

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, said on Friday that those with serious injuries in Gaza should be allowed to travel for treatment, warning of the deteriorating humanitarian situation there.

Bachelet added that she is deeply concerned about the escalating violence in the West Bank, calling for an end to the illegal presence of settlements. She also emphasized the need to end the war in Sudan and restore civilian rule, pointing to the urgent need for international intervention to ensure the protection of civilians and achieve stability.
