Trump Reveals Netanyahu's Role in Decision to End War with Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump announced yesterday evening, Sunday, that the decision to end the war with Iran will be "joint" and made in consultation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasizing that the continuation of Israeli strikes after the cessation of U.S. operations will be "unnecessary."
In an interview with the Times of Israel, Trump said: "I think the decision is joint... to some extent. We have been talking, and I will make the decision at the right time, but everything will be taken into account," noting that Netanyahu will have a role in advising, while he retains the final say.
Despite his attempts to avoid setting a timeline for the war, White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt confirmed that Washington expects military operations to last between four to six weeks.
* Military Operations and Iranian Response
The United States and Israel began a large-scale military operation against Iran on February 28, resulting in the deaths of several prominent Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Revolutionary Guard Commander Mohammad Pakpour, and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Abdolrahim Mousavi.
For its part, the Iranian armed forces announced the execution of a wide-ranging retaliatory operation, which included launching missiles and drones at Israeli targets, in addition to targeting U.S. military bases in the region.
Trump and Netanyahu had met in Florida last December, as tensions continue in the region amid mutual military escalation between the parties.
