Trump Refuses to Supply Ukraine with 'Tomahawk' Missiles Despite Zelensky's Request

Axios reported that U.S. President Donald Trump refused to supply Kyiv with 'Tomahawk cruise missiles', which is the only weapon on the list of requests made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during their meeting in New York on September 23.
Zelensky indirectly confirmed this information in an interview with the site, while it remains unclear whether Trump will agree to this request, according to The Telegraph newspaper.
This request comes amid the ongoing Western military support for Ukraine since the beginning of the war in February 2022, despite Trump's fluctuating positions on the issue, as he prefers to negotiate the terms of military support rather than commit immediately to further armament.
It is worth noting that the range of 'Tomahawk cruise missiles' reaches 2,500 kilometers, and they can carry up to 450 kilograms of explosives, with each missile costing around two million dollars, making them one of the strategic weapons capable of having a significant impact on the battlefield.
