The "Spotify" platform is preparing to launch a new feature that may be the perfect solution for those who are tired of excessive song repetition.
When a user starts listening to the same song more than once to the point of boredom, they can simply activate the "Snooze" feature.
This feature allows the user to pause the specific song for 30 days, temporarily removing it from the platform's recommendation lists, giving the user a chance to refresh away from this annoying repetition.
Regarding the impact of this feature, "Spotify" has confirmed that it will not affect playlists created by others, meaning the user may still listen to the song if it's part of different playlists.
However, currently only "Premium" users can access this feature, while it will be available to other users in the near future.
In addition to "Snooze," "Spotify" has also introduced a new option called "Hide," allowing users to remove unwanted songs from playlists, providing more control and convenience during listening.
These updates coincide with a period of continued success for "Spotify," which recently announced a 12% increase in paid subscriptions, bringing the total number of platform users to 678 million.
It seems that Spotify is constantly working on improving its user experience and offering innovative tools to make music listening more enjoyable and flexible.
