Saudi Arabia Tops the Cybersecurity Index 2025

Saudi Arabia maintained its top ranking globally in the cybersecurity index within the Global Competitiveness Report 2025 issued by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).

The Kingdom's ranking has seen rapid improvement since 2017, moving from 46th place to first place in less than a decade, according to key international indicators related to cybersecurity issued by IMD and the United Nations.

Dr. Muteb bin Mohammed Alajlan, Chairman of the National Cybersecurity Authority, expressed his gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz for what he described as the support and wise guidance that led to this continuous qualitative achievement in the cybersecurity sector.

Alajlan explained that this progress reflects the continuous successes achieved by the Kingdom since the launch of Vision 2030, which has given comprehensive attention to the cybersecurity sector in its security and developmental aspects, locally and internationally, enabling the establishment of an advanced system in record time.
