The U.S. Treasury Lists Five Iranians on Sanctions List

According to a report by "Reuters" on Tuesday, citing the U.S. Treasury Department, Washington announced the inclusion of five Iranian citizens on the new sanctions list.

This decision comes as part of the United States' policy aimed at increasing pressure on Tehran, amid ongoing tensions regarding regional and international issues, most notably Iran's nuclear program and Tehran's role in the region.

This step is expected to increase the restrictions imposed on these individuals, including freezing their financial assets within the United States and prohibiting any business transactions with them, in addition to banning their travel.
