The United Nations Warns of the Consequences of Israel's Decisions in the West Bank

Stefan Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, said on Monday that the international organization is increasingly concerned about recent Israeli decisions regarding the West Bank.

He explained that Secretary-General António Guterres warns that the current ground reality is undermining the chances of implementing a two-state solution and complicates the political landscape.

Dujarric emphasized that Guterres reiterates his firm position that all Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank are illegal and lack any legitimacy under international law.
