The series "Between Doubt and Certainty" tells the story of Mustafa Mahmoud in an anticipated drama for Ramadan 2027

The United Media Services Company launched the first teaser promo for the series "Between Doubt and Certainty," which addresses the dramatic biography of the late Egyptian thinker and doctor Mustafa Mahmoud, in preparation for its airing during the Ramadan drama season of 2027.
This work is considered one of the largest anticipated dramatic projects for the upcoming season, aiming to present a human and intellectual reading of the life of the Egyptian thinker who left a wide mark on Arab culture.

The series is directed by Kamala Abu Zekry, while the dramatic treatment was written by screenwriter Mohamed Hisham Abia, as part of a production collaboration between the United Media Services Company and Media Hub.
The work is expected to focus on the intellectual and philosophical aspects of Mustafa Mahmoud's life, alongside highlighting the historical and social context in which he lived, giving the series a dramatic dimension that combines thought and emotion.

The production company clarified that the early release of the promo aims to create a sense of anticipation among the audience regarding the work, especially with the continued secrecy about the name of the actor who will portray Mustafa Mahmoud.
The series is still in the preparation stage and casting discussions are ongoing, amidst artistic discussions about the final shape of the work.
Discussions about the number of episodes range between 15 and 30 episodes
Discussions within the production team revolve around presenting the series in 15 intensive episodes or 30 episodes that showcase the milestones of the Egyptian thinker's life, starting from his career in medicine and literature, up to his interests in philosophy and Sufism.

The work is expected to cover the period between 1921 and 2009, which witnessed Mustafa Mahmoud's intellectual and scientific career.
The Egyptian thinker left a significant cultural legacy in the Arab world, having authored about 89 books, in addition to more than 400 episodes of his famous program Science and Faith, which combined the simplification of sciences with philosophical and religious discourse.
The series aims to present a new dramatic vision of the career of one of the most prominent thinkers in the Arab world, through a work that combines intellectual character and artistic presentation, in an attempt to reintroduce his ideas to a new generation of viewers.
