The Israeli army announced on Friday evening that it had carried out airstrikes on infrastructure belonging to Hamas in the Gaza Strip, in response to a violation of the ceasefire agreement on Thursday.

Details of the Airstrikes

The army stated in an official statement that the airstrikes targeted a site for producing munitions and a weapons depot belonging to Hamas, adding that the operations were carried out within the last twenty-four hours after its forces were fired upon by militants in the northern sector.
The statement noted that the army took measures to avoid civilian casualties, including issuing prior warnings to residents and verifying that there were no uninvolved individuals in the vicinity of the targeted sites.

Israeli Army's Position

The army confirmed that it views any violation of the ceasefire agreement seriously and will take action against any attempts by armed organizations in Gaza to carry out plans that threaten its forces and Israeli territory.
The army also released a video documenting the airstrikes that targeted the infrastructure, affirming that the operations were conducted according to precise targeting standards to ensure civilian safety.
