Channel 12 reported on Saturday that the southern command of the Israeli army is preparing to move to a new phase of the military operation in the Gaza Strip, which includes imposing strict restrictions on movement towards the southern part of the strip in the coming days.

According to the report, the plan includes subjecting everyone moving towards the southern areas to thorough inspections, in an attempt to prevent Hamas elements from reaching the humanitarian areas designated for civilians.

This approach comes amid the continuation of military operations and increasing Israeli fears of the use of humanitarian corridors as a means of infiltration or repositioning by Palestinian factions.
