The Houthis Launch a Kidnapping Campaign Targeting UN Employees in Sana'a

The sources indicated that security units belonging to the "Security and Intelligence Agency" and the women's "Zainabiyat" police began organized raids on the homes of international employees since Sunday evening, and took several of them to unknown detention centers without providing any clarifications to their families.
Reports also indicated that the Houthi women's police confiscated private property and tampered with the contents of homes, under the pretext of searching for electronic devices, in a move that raised widespread concern in human rights and humanitarian circles.
These developments come at a sensitive time for the country, amid warnings about the impact of these measures on humanitarian work in areas under Houthi control, and a direct threat to the safety of workers in the relief and international fields.
