Following the scene's spread, users circulated claims about the illegal use of the song within the series, before it was officially denied by the creators of the work and the relevant Egyptian parties.

Egyptian sound engineer Hani Mahrous confirmed that the production company obtained the usage rights legally, after contacting the Egyptian producer Mohamed Mohsen Jaber, the rights owner, and purchasing an official license to use the song in the episode.

According to the details, the agreement stipulated the use of the song in only one scene, with it also being played at the end of the episode without being utilized in any additional scenes, which the production entity adhered to.
