Icon of Syrian Radio and a Long Journey
Lotfi began his artistic career on stage in Damascus before taking his first steps in Syrian radio in 1972. A year later, he became an official member of the Syrian Artists Syndicate, dedicating his life to radio, where he combined acting and radio directing.
Throughout his career, Mazen Lotfi produced around 16,000 hours of dramatic radio broadcasts, making him one of the most prominent pioneers of radio drama in Syria and the Arab world.
