The Crisis of Sherine Abdel Wahab and Producer Mohamed El Shaar: Legal Warning and Demands for Payment Intensify

The legal crisis between Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab and producer Mohamed El Shaar has escalated after her lawyer, Counselor Yasser Qantosh, announced that a formal warning had been issued to the concerned company demanding payment of overdue financial dues, while denying reports of a final court ruling in favor of the other party.

Sherine's Lawyer Denies Ruling in Favor of the Producer

Qantosh confirmed in an official statement that recent reports regarding a court ruling in favor of producer Mohamed El Shaar are inaccurate.
He explained that the court did not consider the essence of the dispute between the two parties, but rather ruled that the case was inadmissible due to the arbitration clause in the contract signed between them, which means that the case has not been legally resolved yet.
He pointed out that portraying the court decision as a "legal victory" for the other party does not reflect the reality of what occurred in the court sessions.

Overdue Financial Dues for 8 Months

The legal advisor for the artist revealed that Sherine Abdel Wahab has not received her financial dues for about eight months, despite ongoing legal proceedings between the two parties.
He added that the arbitration case, which has been ongoing since last June, has not yet resulted in any payment of the amounts owed to the artist.

Formal Warning and Upcoming Legal Actions

Qantosh confirmed that the artist is adamant about her full financial and legal rights, emphasizing that her legal team will take new steps in the coming hours.
He explained that a formal warning will be directed to the concerned company demanding immediate payment of the overdue dues, in addition to the amounts in dispute in the arbitration case.

Sherine: Firm on Her Legal Rights

The statement indicated that attempts to "mislead public opinion," as he described them, will not affect the artist's position, who insists on her legal rights until the dispute is fully settled.
Her legal team also stressed that all necessary legal actions will be taken if there is no response to the warning or compliance with the payment demands.
These developments come at a time when the crisis of Sherine Abdel Wahab with producer Mohamed El Shaar is dominating the artistic scene, amid anticipation of the outcome of the arbitration proceedings in the upcoming period.
