Iran Threatens 'Unforgettable Response' to Any American or Israeli Attack on Its Islands in the Gulf

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf warned that any aggression would lead to "the exhaustion of all restraint" and "teaching the enemy a lesson it will not forget."
For his part, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei confirmed that his country would not remain idle and that Iranian forces are ready to confront any attack.
On the other hand, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran has lost most of its air and naval capabilities, asserting that Washington is in a "very good position" and that there are currently no significant targets within Iran to strike.
Qalibaf: The Iranian Response Will Be Unrestricted
Qalibaf clarified that his country would abandon all restrictions if the United States or Israel launched strikes on any of the islands, indicating that any aggression would hold Trump directly responsible for the loss of American soldiers.
Qalibaf stated in a post on X: "Iran will not tolerate any aggression against its territory and will respond firmly to every violation of national sovereignty."
Iranian Foreign Ministry: "We Will Not Stand Idly By"
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei confirmed that Iran has asked neighboring countries to prevent the use of their territories for any American operations.
He added that Europeans bear significant responsibility if they attempt to support the United States and Israel, urging them to be courageous and play a mediating role in the crisis.
Baghaei also emphasized that Iran is determined to defend its sovereignty regardless of the challenges, considering the killing of the former leader and key Iranian figures part of the brutal aggression faced by his country.
Washington's Position: Iran is Approaching Defeat
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran has lost most of its air and naval capabilities, asserting that his country continues military operations to ensure the guaranteed end of the Iranian threat in the region.
Trump added that there are no longer significant targets within Iran worth striking, but he emphasized the need to continue operations until the war's objectives are fully achieved.
Rising Tensions in the Gulf and Potential Implications
These statements come on the thirteenth day of the ongoing war between Iran and the United States and Israel, amid rising risks to regional stability and global energy markets.
Tehran's threats and increased tensions over the islands of Abu Musa and Tunb raise concerns about a broader military confrontation involving the Arabian Gulf, further intensifying pressures on all international parties in the region.
