Syrian-Turkish ministerial meeting to enhance cooperation on family and refugee issues.

The Syrian Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Kabawat, and the Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas, held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the International Family Forum in Istanbul, discussing ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in several vital areas.
According to the Syrian Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, as reported on its "Telegram" channel, the ministers emphasized the importance of accelerating the voluntary return of Syrian refugees and facilitating their reunification with their families in Syria, as well as exploring mechanisms to support Syrian families in both countries.
The meeting also focused on strengthening social protection for families, empowering women, and assisting the most vulnerable groups amidst the common challenges facing Syrian families due to the current crises.
The meeting reviewed the common challenges in family protection between Syria and Turkey, emphasizing the need to enhance joint efforts to ensure the stability of Syrian families, whether in Turkey or inside Syria.
