Real Valladolid club said today, Friday, that former Brazilian striker Ronaldo has sold his majority stake in the Spanish club to an investment group in North America. Valladolid was confirmed to have been relegated from the Spanish first division in April. The team is at the bottom of the league with 16 points after 29 defeats, and will visit Leganes in the final round of the competition tomorrow, Saturday. This will be Valladolid's third relegation since Ronaldo, 48, became the club's owner in 2018. Ronaldo sold the majority stake in Cruzeiro club last year, where he began his football career.
