A Syrian security delegation visits Riyadh to enhance bilateral cooperation in security fields.

The Saudi capital, Riyadh, received a high-level Syrian security delegation on an official visit that lasted three days from April 14 to 16, aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation between the two countries in security and policing areas.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior emphasized that this visit is part of the Kingdom's support for the Syrian government's efforts to enhance security, stability, and preserve Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity through developing institutional and security structures.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior, in a statement published by the SANA agency, stated that the visit aimed at "strengthening bilateral cooperation" and benefiting from advanced Saudi expertise in public security, crime prevention, and crisis management.
The delegation's program included field visits to several Saudi security and police facilities to observe work mechanisms, surveillance systems, and strategies used in civil security management.
The statement confirmed that this visit is a significant step towards developing the Syrian security system and enhancing its efficiency in facing current challenges.
This step comes within the context of increasing rapprochement between Riyadh and Damascus, following a series of diplomatic movements that contributed to Syria's return to the circle of joint Arab action, reflecting a noticeable development in regional cooperation to enhance security and stability.
