The Syrian Minister of Defense, Major General Engineer Marhef Abu Qasra, issued a message today, Friday, to the personnel in the army and armed forces regarding military behavior and discipline.
In a tweet on the "X" platform, Abu Qasra wrote: "Believing that military service represents a noble message and a great national responsibility, and because the actions of any personnel in the armed forces necessarily reflect on the entire army, it was necessary to prepare a list that includes duties and prohibitions that outline the rules of behavior and military discipline, which all army personnel must respect and adhere to."
The Minister added: "To the personnel in the army and armed forces, your commitment to the rules of behavior and discipline - which will be issued shortly - reflects the bright image that we seek to portray in the Syrian army, after it was distorted by the defunct regime and turned into a tool for killing the Syrian people. We are working to establish it as a shield for the people, a defender of the homeland, and a believer in discipline and responsibility, to be a source of them."
