Syrian-Qatari talks on rebuilding the healthcare system in Syria.

A bilateral meeting was held between the Minister of Health, Dr. Musab Al-Ali, and the Qatari Minister of Health, Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the World Health Assembly held in Geneva from the 19th to the 27th of this month under the theme "One World for Health."
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the health sector, focusing on supporting Syria's efforts in rebuilding the healthcare system, especially in terms of infrastructure development, providing medicines, and medical supplies.
Dr. Al-Ali emphasized the importance of benefiting from Qatari expertise in several areas, including digital health transformation, organizing primary healthcare services, and community care, noting that this cooperation will contribute to a more effective response to the needs of citizens in various provinces. He also praised the "brotherly relations" between the two countries.
In the same context, the Qatari Minister expressed his country's readiness to support Syria in the discussed areas, affirming Doha's keenness to cooperate on future projects that serve the direct interests of the Syrian people.
