The Syrian Arab Football Association has decided to resume football activities at all levels on April 10th. This decision was made in a circular issued by the association in collaboration with the advisory committee, which included a series of resolutions, procedures, and measures, in addition to decisions related to arbitration, coaches, organizational, and administrative matters.
On the national teams front, Raghdan Shahada has been appointed as the manager of the men's national team, with Anas Sabouni as an assistant coach after coordinating with the national team's head coach Jose Lana. A national technical staff has been assigned to scout Syrian expatriate players.
Participation in the West Asian Championships for under-23, youth, and junior categories has been confirmed for the upcoming period, along with a request to the Asian Football Confederation to approve the Asian Professional Coaches Diploma course.
Furthermore, training and appointment courses for referees from Idlib, northern rural Aleppo, and Deir ez-Zor have been scheduled, along with two (C) level training courses for coaches from Idlib and northern rural Aleppo. Additionally, a training course for preparing instructors for Asian training courses will be held concurrently with the Asian (C) level course in Damascus.
