The President of the General Authority for Land and Maritime Border Crossings, Qutaiba Badawi, met with a high-level delegation from the Chinese company AOJ-TECHNOLOGY, led by the General Manager of the company in the Middle East region, "Zhou Lijiang", at the Authority's headquarters in Damascus to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities in Syria.
The meeting focused on expanding the partnership between the two sides, especially in projects related to developing seaports and railway networks, as well as exploring investment in Syrian free zones, which offer competitive advantages that attract foreign investors, especially in logistics services and export industries.
The Syrian side also presented the available investment opportunities, highlighting the features of the local market and the government's priorities within the framework of reconstruction plans and infrastructure development.
Badawi emphasized that this meeting marks the beginning of a series of purposeful meetings aimed at enhancing economic cooperation between Syria and China, contributing to supporting development and stimulating the national economy during the recovery phase.
This meeting is part of Syrian efforts to strengthen international partnerships and attract foreign investments to revitalize vital economic sectors.
