Syrian-American Meeting on the Sidelines of the Munich Security Conference

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Friday, that Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaybani held a meeting with his American counterpart Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

The Ministry clarified that Rubio confirmed during the meeting his country's support for the Syrian government, pointing to Washington's backing for efforts to combat the 'State' organization, in addition to supporting the integration agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
