A new survey conducted by the "Pew" Research Center revealed that a staggering majority of Americans, reaching 85%, believe that violence related to political motives is experiencing a noticeable increase in the United States, amid an atmosphere of sharp polarization and partisan divisions.
According to the survey results, 71% of participants consider political violence to be a "very serious problem," while more than 80% expressed feeling that the country is going through a deep political crisis, reflecting a decline in trust in democratic institutions and a growing concern about the future of public liberties.
The survey also indicated that this concern is not limited to one partisan group, but encompasses a wide spectrum of Americans, including 93% of Democrats and 60% of Republicans, reflecting a collective awareness of the seriousness of the current political situation.
