The Israeli government announced on Sunday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to allow teams from the Red Cross and an Egyptian technical team to enter the Gaza Strip to search for the remains of hostages believed to be behind the "yellow line," which is the limit that defines the scope of the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area.

This decision comes amid ongoing humanitarian efforts to determine the fate of the missing, amidst field and security complications. Despite Israel's approval of the recent ceasefire, Netanyahu emphasized in his statements that his country retains its full right to carry out military strikes inside Gaza or Lebanon without the need for prior coordination with any party.

The Israeli step is considered a significant development in the hostage file and opens the door for technical and humanitarian cooperation with international and regional entities, despite the ongoing military tensions in the region.
