South Korea Oil: Government Prepares to Secure Market After Tensions in Iran

In a proactive step to address any energy crisis, the South Korean Ministry of Industry announced today, Sunday, that the government is ready to supply oil from its reserves to local industries in the event of continued supply disruptions following the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran.
The ministry confirmed that government oil reserves are distributed across nine strategic locations within the country, allowing them to cover market needs for several months and ensure uninterrupted industrial production.
This announcement comes at a time when regional tensions are escalating following military strikes on Iran, raising concerns about global oil supply shortages.
This step is part of Seoul's plan to secure national energy supplies and protect the economy from sudden shocks.
