Shooting at a high school in Austria results in casualties and injuries.

Nine people were killed and others were injured in a shooting incident inside a high school in Graz, the second-largest city in Austria, on Tuesday, June 10, according to the Austrian news agency.
Earlier reports from local media indicated at least 5 deaths, while Austrian radio quoted the police confirming several victims with serious injuries, including students and teachers.
Austrian TV (ORF), citing security sources, confirmed that the suspected student was the shooter, leading to immediate evacuation of the school. The police spokesperson, Fritz Grundnig, stated, "Many students and teachers were seriously injured."
The Austrian Interior Ministry announced multiple fatalities without specifying the exact number, while the police intervened following reports of a shooting inside the school.
They stated in a statement that "a security operation is ongoing on Dürergasse Street," the location of the school, refraining from providing further details.
In a related context, the Austrian radio mentioned that security forces are still working on evacuating the building, while it has not been revealed yet whether the suspect is among the victims.
Such attacks are rare in Austria, with a population of around 9.2 million. The country witnessed a stabbing incident in the south in February, resulting in the death of a minor and injuries to 5 others, before a 23-year-old Syrian asylum seeker was arrested.
