A Syrian delegation is participating in the regional training workshop titled "Governance and Administration for Comprehensive Social Security in the Arab Region."

A delegation from the Syrian Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the General Organization for Social Insurance participated in the regional training workshop titled "Governance and Management for Comprehensive Social Security in the Arab Region," held in Turin, Italy from June 9 to 13, 2025.

The participation aimed to enhance the participants' capacities in designing and implementing effective and comprehensive social protection systems.

Organized jointly by the International Training Centre of the ILO "ITC-ILO" and regional and international institutions concerned with social security and protection.

The workshop also aimed to shed light on the fundamental concepts of good governance and effective management in the field of social security, and their role in achieving transparency, efficiency, and justice, as mentioned by the ministry via Telegram.
