Minister of Health in Syria, Dr. Mosaab Al-Ali, met today, Thursday, with the Qatari Director of the Norwegian Relief Organization "NORWAC" in Syria, Dr. Bilal Al-Jaberi, to discuss ways to enhance mutual health cooperation and support efforts to stabilize the healthcare sector in Syria. Participants in the meeting also discussed the importance of joint health cooperation in medical rehabilitation, training of healthcare personnel, and agreed on several projects for the current year, including blood banks, thalassemia, and efforts to expand and assist in the treatment of cancer patients. Dr. Al-Ali expressed the ministry's readiness to cooperate with the organization, establish joint workshops to bridge health gaps, provide training devices, and enhance the quality of healthcare services provided. Dr. Al-Jaberi, on the other hand, mentioned that the organization is working on a project to train doctors in endoscopic and gynecological surgery, emphasizing the need to connect the network of doctors between Syria and Norway, especially in expanding health cooperation.
