Recent statements and mutual accusations have sparked widespread controversy between Egyptian singer Hossam Habib and the brother of artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, reaching the point of discussing drug-related issues.

The story began when Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Sherine's brother, posted a message on "Facebook" hinting at Habib's involvement in a drug trafficking case, threatening to reveal details soon.

Hossam Habib quickly responded, firmly denying these allegations. He stated in a call via "Instagram" with media personality Basma Wahba that he is at his home in the Fifth Settlement, describing what is being circulated as "rumors as part of a systematic campaign" against him, affirming that he knows who is behind it.

He added: "These rumors are an attempt to tarnish my image and pressure me to distance myself from Sherine, but I will not leave her alone in her crises," indicating that he will not give up his right to confront those who promote the accusations.

Habib also denied exploiting Sherine's money, explaining that he sold his house, car, and personal watches to cover his expenses without any support from his family or his ex-wife.

The controversy surrounding the case coincided with rumors about the return of the relationship between him and Sherine, which he also denied, affirming that the circulating news "has no basis in truth."
