Seizure of a Farm for Producing Narcotic Hashish in the Eastern Aleppo Countryside of Manbij

The Narcotics Control Branch, in cooperation with the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo, announced today, Sunday, the seizure of a farm containing quantities of seedlings of a plant used in the production of narcotic hashish, located in the village of "Abu Kahf" in the eastern countryside of the Manbij area in Aleppo Governorate.

The operation was carried out after careful monitoring and field investigations, where the narcotic seedlings were confiscated and legal actions were taken against those involved, as part of the efforts of the relevant authorities to combat the spread of narcotic substances and mitigate their social and security impacts.

This step comes as part of an ongoing security campaign targeting farms and manufacturing centers of narcotic substances in rural areas, amidst warnings of the growing activity of smuggling and illegal production networks in some border areas.
