Russian Official Links Rothschild Name to Epstein Scandal, Sparks Controversy on Social Media

The special representative of the Russian president for international economic cooperation, Kirill Dmitriev, sparked a wave of controversy after he published a series of posts on the platform "X", hinting at what he described as the "fall of the Rothschilds", in connection with the case involving the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Dmitriev posted an image taken from the series "Game of Thrones" showing characters from the "Lannister" family, which represents a powerful ruling dynasty whose influence wanes throughout the events of the story, and accompanied it with a brief comment stating: "The fall of the Rothschilds".

Allegations of Communication with Epstein

In another related post, the Russian official shared an image of what he claimed was an email addressed to Epstein. According to the content of the circulated message, a person claiming to represent the Rothschild family sought Epstein's advice on ways to enable a bank managing assets estimated at around $160 billion to expand its activities in the technology sector.

No official comment has been issued by the Rothschild family regarding the authenticity of the message or the allegations contained within it.
The Epstein Case Resurfaces
Jeffrey Epstein is considered one of the most controversial figures in recent years, after he was charged in 2019 with sex trafficking of minors in the United States. In July of the same year, he was found dead in his cell, with the official investigation concluding that his death was a result of suicide.

The Epstein case continues to attract global interest, amid ongoing allegations regarding his relationships with prominent political and economic figures, despite no judicial convictions against many of the names mentioned in the context of the case.
