Achraf Hakimi Referred to Trial on Rape Charges

The Moroccan player and Paris Saint-Germain star, Achraf Hakimi, has been referred to trial on charges of raping a young woman in February 2023, according to what was confirmed by Agence France-Presse on Tuesday from the player's lawyer and the public prosecutor in Nanterre.

Hakimi responded via the X platform, asserting that the accusation is false and that he is calm, stating: "Today, it is enough to be accused of rape to justify your referral to trial, even if I contest it and everything that exists proves it to be baseless." He added that he is waiting for the trial calmly to reveal the truth to the public.
