New Talks Between OpenAI and Microsoft to Develop Partnership: Nadella and Altman Discuss the Future

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, held an important discussion with his counterpart at Microsoft, Satya Nadella, on Monday to discuss the future of cooperation between the two companies amid reports of ongoing talks to review current investment terms.
According to earlier reports by The Wall Street Journal, Microsoft _the main supporter of OpenAI_ is considering modifying the terms of their partnership, including its future stake in the startup.
The Financial Times also indicated that Microsoft may freeze negotiations if no agreement is reached on key issues, notably the size of the anticipated ownership.
In this context, Altman commented in an interview with The New York Times, saying: "It is natural for points of tension to arise in any deep partnership, and we are already facing that, but overall, the partnership has been tremendously fruitful for both companies."
Altman also revealed constructive discussions with US President Donald Trump on artificial intelligence, affirming that Trump recognizes the strategic and economic importance of this technology.
This comes following Trump's launch of the "Stargate" initiative last January, a massive project to invest $500 billion in AI infrastructure led by the private sector.
Participating in funding the initiative are Japan's SoftBank, OpenAI, and the American company Oracle, reflecting the world's rapid global trend towards enhancing future technologies.
