Saudi Arabia Launches 10 Scientific Experiments to the International Space Station

In line with the goals of Vision 2030 in preparing an empowered generation that effectively contributes to the future of the space sector, the Saudi Space Agency is making great efforts to enhance the Kingdom's presence in international space programs and provide a stimulating environment that contributes to supporting the knowledge economy.
The agency announced today, Wednesday, the launch of the winning experiments in the "Space Madadak" competition to the International Space Station, as part of an international space mission that launched on Wednesday morning from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the mission included sending 10 scientific experiments created and executed by Saudi students and students from various parts of the Arab world, as part of the Space Madadak competition launched by the agency in partnership with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation "Misk" and the "Ithra" Scientific Center for Science and Innovation, with the aim of supporting those interested in space sciences and technologies, and motivating them to turn their ideas into scientifically feasible applications in the microgravity environment aboard the International Space Station.
The competition saw wide participation from students across the Arab world, with over 80,000 participants registered, distributed across 3 main tracks covering arts, plants, and engineering.
