Netflix Brings Stranger Things Fans Back to Hawkins with New Animated Series "Tales From ’85"

Netflix is preparing for science fiction and mystery drama fans to experience a unique cinematic event, by premiering the first two episodes of the new animated series Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 on Saturday, April 18, in 34 American theaters, including the Paris Theater in New York and Netflix's headquarters in Philadelphia, with exclusive memorabilia gifts for attendees while supplies last.

Tales From ’85 takes place in the winter of 1985, after the horrors of the Upside Down have passed, where Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max return to their normal lives filled with Dungeons & Dragons games and snowball fights, but a new danger lurks beneath the snow, and the team must solve a mystery to save the town before it's too late.

Brooklyn Davie Norstedt as Eleven
Brett Gibson as Hopper
Odessa A'zion as Nikki Baxter
Jeremy Jordan as Steve
The series is written by Eric Robles, produced by the Duffer Brothers, with Hillary Leavitt, Shawn Levy, and Dan Cohen, through Flying Bark Productions, Upside Down Pictures, and 21 Laps.

This series is the latest expansion of the Stranger Things universe, which includes television works, an award-winning Broadway play, video games, and live interactive shows, following the great success of the original series since 2016.

The new episodes will be available globally on Netflix starting April 23, allowing Hawkins fans to follow their heroes' adventures in a new story that combines excitement, fantasy, and family adventure.
