Moscow: Poland's hostile stance provokes Russia's anger.

Moscow is closely monitoring Poland's anti-Russian stance and observing the diplomatic climate until the new Polish political direction becomes clear.
Developments in both Russian and Polish arenas coincide with a political crisis within Poland itself, following a scandal related to violations during the vote counting process in the second round of the presidential elections.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during a press conference today, Tuesday, with his Belarusian counterpart Maxim Ryzhankov in Moscow: "Regardless of our stance on Polish foreign policy, it is ultimately shaped based on approaches aimed at preserving and enhancing national identity."
He added: "We and our Belarusian partners constantly notice that Poland shows no readiness for constructive dialogue with our countries, but rather leans towards confrontation. We must monitor the nature of foreign policy developments there under the leadership of the new president."
