Mohammed Qwaied returns to coach Al-Karama Syrian club after an absence.

Coach Mohammad Qouaid has returned to coach Syria's Al-Karama Club, after a period of work in the United Arab Emirates.
Al-Karama Club announced in an official statement the appointment of Coach Mohammad Qouaid as the technical director of the first team, replacing the former coach Fajr Ibrahim, whose contract was mutually terminated. This appointment comes hours after all administrative, service, financial staff were relieved of their duties, and all sports coaching staff were dissolved.
In a statement on the "X" platform, the club clarified that Mohammad Qouaid will return to the team where he had his major breakthrough in the coaching world, especially since the team is currently leading the Syrian League standings for the 2024-2025 season at the end of the fifth round, before the league resumes.
Qouaid served as the head coach of the team between 2006 and 2007, leading the club to win four consecutive league titles starting from 2006, in addition to winning four consecutive domestic cups starting from 2007.
Qouaid also achieved a continental milestone with the club by reaching the final match of the 2006 Asian Championship.
The return of the veteran coach is part of the club's preparations for the new sports season, where he will take on the responsibility of leading the first team.
