Mohamed Aboutrika Reveals Slot's Role in Mohamed Salah's Departure from Liverpool and Advises Him on His Future

Former Egypt national team star Mohamed Aboutrika confirmed that Mohamed Salah's departure from Liverpool after 9 successful years is not surprising, explaining that the player no longer needs to prove himself to anyone after all these years.

Aboutrika stated on "beIN Sports": "Salah has provided 9 memorable years, all his highlights are filled with goals and titles, and we heard what Guardiola said about him, describing him as a legend of the Premier League and a model of consistency and professionalism."

Aboutrika revealed that one of the reasons for Salah's departure from the "Reds" is related to another player, saying: "One of the reasons I know is the presence of Arne Slot, he is the one who pushed him to leave. Salah was in a contract for the next season, so what has changed? Slot is the reason."

He added: "Salah wants to work on his own terms in the coming years, and God willing, he will receive the recognition he deserves from his fans and the fans of his competitors."
