"Mission Impossible" Overcomes the Lifetime Achievement Award .. Tom Cruise Apologizes for Honoring Trump

The Washington Post revealed that global star Tom Cruise, the hero of the "Mission Impossible" series, refused to accept the Kennedy Center Honor for Lifetime Achievement, which was to be presented to him by U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to informed sources, Cruise's refusal was due to scheduling conflicts with his artistic commitments, despite the fact that Trump, who this year took over as Chairman of the Kennedy Center, personally oversaw the selection of the honorees.
The list included prominent names in the world of art, such as country singers George Strait and Gloria Gaynor, the rock band "Kiss", Broadway legend Michael Crawford, and actor Sylvester Stallone.
During the announcement, Trump clarified that the list excluded "stars influenced by conscious political currents", emphasizing that he rejected many names before settling on this group.
Ironically, some of the honorees had a history of criticizing Trump, such as Gene Simmons, the leader of the band "Kiss", who supported him in his early days before stating in 2022 that "open racism and conspiracy theories have become acceptable in society because he allowed them".
